Main apse: Virgin, angels, donors, bishops.
Apse arch: St John and St Matthew symbols, remains of St Mark and St Luke, flora, geometrical pattern.
South apse: St Matthew, St Michael, saints, donor.
Ambo: The ambo聽to the north (by Romualdo II Guara) was remade after 1730 with residual mosaics. The one to the south has聽original mosaics of 12C (Marchese聽& Garzillo, 1984).
Lunette: St Matthew.

Apse arch:聽12C.聽Earthquake damage revealed two walled-up single narrow windows [monophores] on the walls around the main apse which are throws doubt on an 11C date of the remaining mosaics (Marchese聽& Garzillo, 1984).
