Module learning outcomes

Demonstrate a systematic understanding of key aspects of development and structure-function relationships within the mammalian brain, such as the processing of sensory information and the generation of motor commands.

Critically evaluate current research literature in the context of the module material, applying an understanding of a range of techniques and experimental analysis within neuroanatomy.

Effectively communicate complex information, arguments and analysis to specialist and non-specialist audiences, through written and visual forms, employing and evaluating GenAI tools as appropriate.

Formulate, evaluate and communicate scientific arguments regarding potential societal, ethical and legal impacts of neuroimaging, drawing on peer discussion and presentation opportunities to develop informed perspectives.
