¹ú²úÄÚÉä

1.  To raise the profile of mood and anxiety research in Sussex (¹ú²úÄÚÉä, BSMS and SPFT) both nationally and internationally as a means of communicating the richness of this research to funding bodies (e.g. Research Councils, NIHR) and assessment bodies (e.g. HEFCE).

2. To promote collaborations between academics from the ¹ú²úÄÚÉä, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and clinicians in Sussex interested in mood and anxiety research. 

3. To provide clinical research group meetings on a periodic basis to share local research findings and discuss future work.

4. To promote ways of utilising research in real world interventions by providing a mechanism through which purely theoretical research can have an impact on applied areas.
