Biography
I studied Political Science (Magister/M.A.) and Sociology (B.A.) at the University of Innsbruck (2004-2010), spending extensive study and research periods in Santiago de Chile and San José, Costa Rica. After a one-year traineeship at the Austrian Foreign Ministry and collaborations in a number of NGOs, I completed an MA in Migration Studies at the 国产内射, where I then started my PhD as a Marie Sklodowska Curie Early-stage Research Fellow within the .
From April to October 2015, I was a visiting PhD candidate and member of the at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
From October 2015 to January 2016 I was a Visiting Researcher at the Pedro Arrupe Institute of Human Rights, University of Deusto, Bilbao.
I submitted my thesis in December 2017, and since February 2018 I am a Research Fellow at the Department of Geography, working on the international research project CEASEVAL (Horizon 2020).
