Spring teaching
On this module, you’ll build on your existing Arabic language skills.
The module aims to:
- enable your understanding of key information in Arabic
- develop your ability to communicate in less routine situations and at a standard level
- provide opportunities to study a variety of topics
- develop your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills
- build on your understanding of Arabic language structures, vocabulary, syntax and pronunciation
- develop your knowledge of Arabic culture and society
- provide activities using a range of materials and media, including text, audio, audiovisual and digital.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 44 hours of contact time and about 106 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
